Thoughts

I have so many questions. My company Aries Ent is running very well, but sometimes I just get to the point where im in a state of confusion. I have this real fear of failing even after giving it my all and using all my positive resourses. Or doing so well that the bar that I set is so high that I might not reach it again. I know that someone has to have had the same concerns. I am trying to build a portfolio as an Event planner so I am ready to get back at it. The PR aspect of the business is going great still at a glacial pace, but its the first stepping stone to success, I know. I think that the only way to not let my fears of failure and success get in the way is to actively stay focus and work at it. My motivation for continuing is that I know its gonna get better and one day I will have an entire team behind me and my company. I feel so blessed right now even in the midst of stress.

Adventures

PR is so fun. I am now helping out with the PR work for a local Houston club. I feel so blessed that someone is giving me a chance to blossom, and grow my company. The business at the club is not doing so well, but I guarantee that I will help this club grow. the thing is that we have to make the environment young and hip without having to remodel the entire building. most Houston night clubs maybe all clubs all over it's about what the inside looks like. Well we are going to have to revamp this club starting with the people and then decided if remodeling is neccesary. I am completely excited. this is my first actual job in PR, but i know enough people to help take care of all the business.

Music obession

I have a really crazy music obession. Hip Hop in particular, the production gets me everytime. If the "Beat" is Sick then the song just needs a little work as far as the lyrics as thats a hit for me. Lately every beat that I have heard has had the best lyrics to follow, which has been great for my ears. For instance the new " Empire state Of Mind" By Jay z ft Alicia Keys prod. by Kanye West, tells a story far beyond the story that Jay Z is telling. I turn my radio up so loud when this song comes on, just so i can feel the bass vibrate my seats. It like the world is mine when I ear a Track produced like this. You gotta have some kind of soul to make music like this. Ugh!!! In a great way. I just wanna run and take over the world, a different way than the Obama's. Talk to you guys later!!!! Business vs. Personal

When working your own business how much of it is personal and business? In this Entertainment Industry I have learned thus far that it's way more important to build a personal relationship with a person that you want to work with first. It's so hard to get what you want and what they want out of a business endeavour unless you have formed some kind of relationship. Who wants to work with someone that they don't really know? No one!!! Starting out I thought ok well I know this person so I will go see if they want to work together on some things. I was sadly mistaken. No matter how much iI think or thought I knew a person its a different ball game when it involves money. Take time and get to know what things they expect, because it will save a lot of havoc. You will know that even if it is not a great success you will have had met all of their expectations, and there's nothing wrong with that.
